Friends & Fun

Our great friends, Katrina and Mark, came to visit! 

Mauren got to meet them for the first time.

We had a lot of laughs, caught up and had great margaritas!

Mauren recieved a great toy from aunt Kristi, Uncle Darren & Nadia for Christmas.

She's just a little scared to try it out.

Puppy had to go for a few rides before Mauren was going to give it a try!

She's making progress!  At least she's sitting on her four-wheeler.....

....but will she push the button to make it go?!?

I've been thinking about all the things I can do with Mauren's hair since it's getting soooooo long!  So, we've attempted it a few times; some braids or twists.  I very much need some practice, the right products, advise and mostly sit-still time!  The high chair seems to keep Mauren somewhat in one spot.

Once Grama & Grandpa left we loaded everyone up and headed to see YaYa & Papa! Mauren was very spoiled in that she got to see all her grandparents in less then a week!

Once we got home from SD we've been hanging out. 

Mauren's learning to "pretend" to eat the cookies that are baking in the oven,

wash her hands (seen in the picture below) and cook dinner. 

She loves her new kitchen!

The Holidays!

I know, I haven't been keeping up with the blog over the holidays.  So, let's get caught up!

 








Mauren's not quite sure about this Santa guy but she did great meeting him for the 1st time!

 

Mauren got a taste of Mommy's favorite Christmas treat - wreaths!  She thought they were yummy too!

Grama & Grandpa Anderson came to visit for Christmas!  Mauren got lots of quality time (including lots of shopping) with them!

Grandpa feeding Mauren junk food!  Real good influence!!  But it's Christmas and what are Grandparents good at but giving grandkids whatever the kids didn't get at their age?!
