Happy Halloween!

Mauren was reading a book while getting ready to trick-or-treat!  She loves her pink chair!

Wow!  What do you think?  Is her favorite color pink?!?  Thanks goodness for the black hair and dark skin to find her in there!

We just went to the neighbor's houses.  She was crazy about running around the neighborhood...who cares about the candy!

Once we drug her home Mauren wanted the candy whether it was unwrapped or not!

Most dogs worst day of the year is 4th of July.  Not Jasper....his worst day is today.  Too many door bell rings and people coming to his house!  He spent most of the night hiding behind Erick. 

 

Almost Halloween!

We had a fantastic week with family here to visit and gearing up for Halloween. 



Best Buddies!


On Saturday, Mauren spent most of the day in her Halloween Costume.  First she had to get in it!  It took Papa, Daddy & YaYa for her to become a pig!  Mommy was too busy with the cameras!
It takes a village, right?!?

 

























We started the day with Truck-or-Treat where kids can check out all different kinds of trucks!  Mauren wasn't really interested in the trucks but was very excited to see some of her friends!

Afternoon brought another outing and reason for Mauren to become a pig!  YaYa & Papa joined us to go to Moon Farm for some more trick-or-treating.  A great place for kids to explore!

Today was Sunday and Mauren put on her Sunday best...here's the best picture I could get of her....she's always on the run now and won't stand still for photos anymore!  

Too bad YaYa & Papa had to go home today :(



Girls weekend!

Again this year, we girls got to spend a weekend together while the boys were hunting.  Our girls weekends sure have changed in the last three years!  We once spent our weekend downtown Denver hitting the hot spots.  No matter what we're doing...I'm thankful we are all together.

Saturday afternoon (after a morning of shopping of course!) the girls went to a pumpkin patch fun farm where the girls rode ponies, went for a hay ride, and rode the animal train.

 Sunday we went to church in cute outfits Auntie Kristi put together.

Then we went swimming!!  The girls had a blast!



 

After swimming the girls hit the gym to play some ball with YaYa!

Then we had to take a timeout for some playtime!

 

We all worked up a huge appetite!  Nadia and Mauren had a mac & cheese pizza!  Life doesn't get any better than a great day with the girls and yummy pizza for dinner!
