Back to normal!

Yes!!  We are all back to normal and back to our routine.  Mauren was very happy to go back to daycare to see all her friends and watch them play.  Erick and I had a lot going on at work so we are glad that we didn't haven't to worry about that and a sick little girl.

Sick of being sick

Mauren was diagnosed with RSV on Monday so she was home all week from daycare.  Maruen started coughing last Friday and by Saturday she had a fever and was fussy.  Monday we went to see Dr. Lamb and Mauren was loaded up on drugs once again; antibiotic, ear drops, & and two nebulizer prescriptions. Erick and I worked in the morning and came home in the afternoon and vise-versa.  On Wednesday Erick and I started to get sick.  YUCK!  We never get a cold at the same time but I guess when we're spending lots of time with a sick little one, we are bound to catch it!





We've had a pretty lazy weekend, even though it's beautiful outside, just trying to get everyone healthy for the start of another week. 

We're all feeling a little better.  Mauren still has a cough, Erick's ears are plugged and I am still congested but I think we will be able to make it to work and daycare tomorrow.



Ohhh, the situations I am getting in by rolling all over the place!

Mauren is 7 months!

     Mauren turned 7 months on Thursday!  Time is still flying and doesn't seem to slow down for us to enjoy more of Mauren and her happy, easy going little personality.

     She's scooting and rolling around, just a little, to reach something she wants.  She's not ready to be completely mobile. 

     Mauren's eating better and has tried carrots (which she seems to like now!), squash, green beans (doesn't really care for those) and her favorites, sweet potatoes!  She'll always finish off a bowl of rice or oatmeal cereal. 

     Mauren's loving daycare but still bringing home every bug possible.  As of January, she won't be the youngest anymore so she's soaking up all the attention she can get!  Hopefully now that winter is about over the bug catching will be over too!
