Coloring Easter Eggs 2013

This is Mauren's first attempt at coloring Easter eggs!  She did great. 

She loved coloring on the eggs before putting them in the dye. 

Mommy & Daddy did a little coloring too ;)

Meeting the Easter Bunny!

Our local rec center held their annual Easter Egg hunt today.  One gentleman said it the day for 2000 eggs to disapear in 5 minutes!  Mauren loved picking up the eggs and shaking them trying to figure out what was in each one.

 

 

 

Shortly after this photo, we were approached by a photographer.  We'll look in the weekly

paper for her photo!

 

Shortly after these pictures were taken, Mauren was interviewed and photographed by another local newspaper!  She was asked what her favorite part of the day was and what the Easter Bunny would say if he could talk!?!

She was a popular girl today!

 

 

We headed home to find out what goodies were in each egg!  Mauren's favorites were the rings and tops.

Yaya & Papa even got to try on the rings!

Farm & Ranch Day

We spent the afternoon visiting the local co-op for their annual farm & ranch day! Mauren loved petting all the animals and we all got a free lunch!

Swimming lessons

Mauren's been taking swimming lessons for the past eight Saturday mornings. This was her first class without us in the water with her! She's become a little fish! She did great and learned lots! Here's some pictures of her lessons.

On the last day of lessons she got to 'jump' off the diving board!  It didn't bother her a bit!

Santa 2012

Mauren sat of Santa's knee and told him she wants Play-Doh in her stocking this year!

Santa reminded Mauren to set out cookies for him and some carrots,

celery & oatmeal cookies for his reindeer! 

We had a fantastic early Christmas with Grama & Grampa.  Especially our short trip to Durango to ride the Polar Express train to the North Pole.
